Why did you choose Wednesdays?
I had to look within myself… turns out Aquarius is ruler of Wednesday which happen to be my favorite day of the week. Funny enough, Carrie Bradshaw also published her blog on Wednesday. Coincidence? I think not!
How long does it take you to write?
As a true procrastinator, I start my process Sunday night. I am done writing around Tuesday night. But my topics are chosen weeks in advance to help me keep track of flow.
What inspires you to choose topics?
I choose topics that happen to me in real-life. Mostly, what I witness with my roommates, friends or watch on TV. From there I just add my own two cents or play devil’s advocate.
How did you come to the name The Unfinished Times?
I wanted to emulate a Newspaper with editions and cycles. I thought this project would be continuous and every growing in just the same manner.
What is your end goal?
I don’t have a desire to be famous or earn money through brand deals. I just want people to have this as a resource for community. I want to eliminate loneliness in America.
When do you beginning your process?
I like to think I am Type A so I plan song choice and topic months in advance. However, when it comes to writing I like to have the flexibility to shape shift.
